How this works
Where the bills come from
Every bill on this site is real legislation introduced in the current Congress, pulled directly from the official Congress.gov record, the same source the Library of Congress publishes. Nothing is invented, and each bill links back to its full text.
The plain-English summaries
Bill text is written for lawyers. We use AI to turn the official summary into two neutral sentences, a few bullet points, and the strongest argument each side makes. It is a starting point, not a substitute for the bill itself, which is always one click away.
How voting works
Anyone can read bills and see results. To cast a vote you sign in once with Google, which keeps it to one vote per person per bill. You can pick Support, Oppose, or Needs changes, and you can change your mind at any time. Your individual votes are private; only the totals are shown.
What this is for
Congress votes behind committee doors and party lines. This is a running picture of how the public would vote on the same bills, and which subjects people keep showing up for.
